November’s workshop will focus on Monitors! And not we are not talking about your computer screen. Monitors are a type of lizard! Have you ever heard of the Komodo Dragon?? The Komodo Dragon is actually the Komodo Monitor. The biggest lizards in the world are Monitors! We have several Monitor Lizards that many of you may recognize such as Bug (Black Throat Monitor), Zig Zag (Nile Monitor), Hydro & TnT (both are Asian Water Monitors). We will be bringing all these cool lizards to our November workshop where you will get to learn all about their lifestyles, habits, and eating preferences. We will also be feeding the lizards! Be forewarned, some of the things we feed the Monitors can be pretty disgusting, like raw eggs, raw ground turkey, cockroaches and worms!
